The California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) is committed to providing its members with the necessary resources and support to navigate the complexities of website ADA compliance.
The CHLA continues to receive positive feedback for this member benefit – online ADA accessibility services – in partnership with Accessible Crew, LLC, website ADA accessibility experts. Accessible Crew is endorsed by CHLA and Stillman & Associates, the law firm that handles many of these cases for CHLA members.
Defend against serial lawsuits by conducting a manual audit of your website's accessibility. Automated tools can be inaccurate, but Accessible Crew uses Screen Reader Software (SRS) for manual audits to identify issues often missed by automated tools. SRS is used by sight-impaired plaintiffs in most ADA website accessibility lawsuits.
Is your website accessible? Has your hotel faced ADA non-compliance issues? Accessible Crew can help assess problems and provide expert declarations.
Accessible Crew offers CHLA members manual ADA accessibility audits for $1,400 per site—half the price of similar services. The audit uses SRS to evaluate goods, services, or websites as required by the ADA, avoiding the inaccuracies of automated tools. This benefit is available to all CHLA members, with audit results protected against discovery.
